Come and join an open-minded, compassionate, weight-inclusive community of like minded individuals looking to support you and each other on a journey to self-acceptance and belonging.
We all have negative thoughts about our bodies and have rules we employ to keep us in-line around food. We walk around feeling as if our bodies are gross, disobedient and a problem we have to constantly control or improve. What if your body didn’t need to be different? What would you be doing in your life if you weren't pre-occupied with making your body smaller?
Continuous weight-loss attempts wear us down, deflate our self-esteem, keep us from doing things that bring us joy and make us feel unworthy and inadequate. What if you could change this? What if you could live free of guilt, disgust and shame around your body and food? What if you could end the war with your body and live in it with ease?
In this 8-week course we will explore: -a path to health that honours your physical and emotional wellbeing. -cultivating resilience against “bad body” moments/days/triggers. -adopting new measures of worth and success rooted in pleasure not the number on the scale or the size of your _____. -the impact of beauty standards and expectations in our culture. -self-compassion and kindness practices in times of struggle. -learning to trust your body and honour it’s needs and joys. -honouring your body as it is today.
You don’t have to wait for the weight to come off to be happy. You deserve EVERYTHING, the thin you tells you you don’t, right now. Your body is not wrong.
